Discovering Styria by bike is a unique pleasure trip. Smelling the scents of nature, feeling the coolness of the forests, stopping at a cabin or wine tavern, listening to the sounds of nature, all the while moving at a good tempo. Travelling by bike or mountain bike is a special way of travelling in Styria.

Scenic diversity: Bike paths along the water veins of the country and pleasure cycling paths to the culinary highlights and delicacies. The Mur bike path, which runs from the High Tauern through the enjoyment capital of Austria and cultural capital of Europe 2003 to wine, pumpkin seed oil and hot springs, is one of the most beautiful river bike paths in the Alps. On the Enns bike path, impressive mountain personalities meet dreamy untamed streams, romantic villages and historic cities offer culture and culinary delights. And the wine country of Styria bike tour opens up as a circular tour around the entire wine country in the south and east of Styria over slightly more than 400 km.

Countless kilometres of signposted mountain bike tours in all degrees of difficulty await the cyclist in Styria. Beginners will find easy stretches and experienced riders will find challenges, such as on the world cup-tested stretch in Schladming or on the world cup and European cup courses around Graz. The mountain bike regions between the holiday region of Schladming- Dachstein and the bikeCULTure region of Graz also impress with tours that lead to the summits. The best thing about it: cabins for stopping are not far away, but instead lie right along the route.
