Fancy nature and culinary delights? Then join us on our foray through southern Styria, more precisely we are on the Southern Styria Wine Road today.
The starting point is Ehrenhausen. The wine road winds through Platsch and Berghausen into the heart of the south Styrian wine country. Here a pristine wine and cultural landscapes opens up with vineyards, poplars and windmills.
Now you reach Ratsch an der Weinstraße. A chapel was built here in the early seventies, which is the only chapel in Styria to be dedicated to the patron saint of wine-growers, the holy Urban. The road continues on to Gamlitz. To the west you discover numerous vineyards and wine taverns until you finally reach the small wine-growing village of Sulztal.
